The Clemson Downs Property Owners Association Board of Directors has called a Special Meeting for September 23, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in the large room at the Corley Center. At this time we will vote on the recommended changes to our bylaws that will enable the board to move forward on planning the Annual Meeting.
The changes you are being asked to vote on are the results of a conflict between our covenants, which take precedence, and bylaws, with the unintended consequences that the board is unable to move forward in planning for our 2019 Annual Meeting. These proposed changes were presented and discussed at the POA Membership Town Hall Forum of August 28, 2019. The ballot gives a summary of each recommended change followed by the bylaw with proposed changes written in bold print. Should you wish to read the current bylaw in its entirety, please refer to the complete document of the current CDPOA bylaws you received from your Board Representative this past spring. You will receive your ballot in the US Mail within a few days. Please return your ballot promptly, or you can bring your ballot to the meeting on September 23.
If you do not use the self-addressed, stamped envelope to return your ballot, please bring it to the meeting so we can reuse the envelope and save some money!
